Accessibility Forum Meeting

General
- Need more consideration of people with low hearing and no hearing:
those suggesting will help in identifying these people
- Accepted the project reporting procedures of the Strategic Management Council
- Coordination with INCITS V2
Software O/S
- A great deal of discussion, explication of terms and general agreement on one section of the project deliverables,
- Interoperability Guide for Government Agencies
- The group will consider revising the schedule of deliverables to have something to present at the next Forum meeting
Telecommunications
- Discussion centered around the issues and assumptions of the subgroup:
including interaction with other groups developing guidelines
- Forum Staff will develop a draft outline of deliverables like the Software and O/S with some description of each section and subsection, and distribute to Forum
attendees
- Industry representatives are interested in taking a more active role
What We Didn’t Do
- Come to agreement on another face-to-face before the next Forum
- Discuss starting a group looking at the Web or other product areas
