"The Accessibility Forum brings accessibility stake-holders together to support informed decisions about E&IT products relative to Section 508."

February 26, 2002

Dear Participant,

Welcome to the Accessibility Forum and the DoubleTree Hotel in Denver, Colorado.  We are pleased to have your organization represented as a member of our program.  The entire conference is being web cast through TV Worldwide so that those not able to attend in person can do so virtually.

Please take a moment to look through this binder.  If you are in need of additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to ask an Accessibility Forum Staff member.  Our role as sponsor and facilitator can only be accomplished as you communicate with us!

We have brought together a program we feel will be beneficial to you.  Our guest speaker on Thursday morning is Shon O. Saliga, the Director of IBM's World Wide Accessibility Center in Austin, Texas.  In addition, we have assembled three distinguished panels to speak from different perspectives.  Much of our program is dedicated to the ongoing work of the Accessibility Forum in the Project Teams.  Please contribute to these sessions and help the Projects move forward.

If I could point to a single contribution the Forum has made, it would be the high level of diversity that our membership represents.  We are a unique entity that brings together different interests, ambitions, and organizational cultures in an open environment.  Finding the nexus of common interest and goals is our challenge and opportunity.  Let’s focus on the opportunity!

Thank you for being here; we appreciate your expertise and insight!

Sincerely,
