Accessibility Forum Staff Bio Information

Jack Corley, Accessibility Forum Program Manager
Education: B.S., M.S. - Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology
Relevant Experience: As Senior VP-Chief Technical Officer of ATI, Mr. Corley leads the Advanced Technology Institute healthcare efforts including the U.S. H.H.S Telehealth Testbed and the just-completed HIIT ($34 M) and HITECC ($39 M) NIST ATP joint ventures. He has extensive experience in consortia management, leading and facilitating distributed teams, and development of consensual, voluntary standards for E&IT. He also has over 20 years experience in software and systems development, including decision support, systems re-engineering, database interoperability, and strategic planning. He is currently the Accessibility Forum Program Manager.

Dr. Bill Hetzner, Accessibility Forum Technical Director
Education: B.S.- Industrial Engineering from University of California, M.S., Ph.D. - Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University
Relevant Experience: Dr. Hetzner is a Senior Policy Analyst for Altarum. He has extensive experience in managing large projects and facilitating consensus decision-making, including the development of the Web-based Manufacturing Information Resource Locator for NIST, Manufacturing Extension Program, and a Congressionally mandated study of manufacturing technology transfer and manufacturing extension for the Secretary of Defense. He is currently the Accessibility Forum Technical Director.

Skip Crane, Accessibility Forum Deputy Program Manager
Education: B.A. from Duke University, MBA from Drake University
Relevant Experience: Mr. Crane is a Senior Program Manager for the Advanced Technology Institute. He is currently responsible for a program designed to provide the technology required for enterprises and communities to share multi-media healthcare information easily and securely. The program (HITECC) represents a $38 million investment in technology development over three years.

Jim Kindrick, Accessibility Forum Technical Projects Lead
Education: B.S. - Biology, M.S. - Computer Science from University of Michigan
Relevant Experience: Mr. Kindrick is a recognized leader in developing voluntary consensus standards and conformance testing E&IT. He has been involved in a number of technical capacities with development of the Standard for the Exchange of Product model data (STEP), including conceptualizing and leading the development of software application to facilitate the testing of STEP implementations and the development of the NIST/ERIM STEP conformance testing system. He represents US interests in international STEP meetings. He is currently in charge of the Accessibility Forum project efforts.
